Dr Maitland Hyslop

Dr Maitland Hyslop is an internationally recognised consultant, strategist, author, academic, and former military officer. He has held senior leadership roles across the private, public, academic, and armed services sectors, with a proven track record in business transformation, governance, and government advisory work across the UK, Middle East, and internationally.

He is Visiting Lecturer at the University of Buckingham and Director of the Mixed Reality Leadership Centre, where he teaches and develops programmes in leadership, cybersecurity, resilience, and aviation security.

Dr Hyslop holds a PhD in Organisational Resilience, an MA in Middle Eastern and African Studies, and an MSc in International Marketing. He is a chartered marketer, ICAO-qualified Aviation Security Professional, and the author of multiple influential books on cybersecurity, leadership, and critical infrastructure resilience.
